General terms and conditions of LES MOTS language school
les mots is a language school located in Eysins, offering courses in French and English, as well as babble-breaks and Neurolanguage coaching®. The courses are taught by qualified and experienced trainers, using a communicative and personalized method. The trainers adapt the content and pace of the courses to the needs and objectives of each student.
les mots operates on the principle of pre-payment through course packages. The packages are valid for a duration ranging from 1 week to 1 year, depending on the package, starting from the date of purchase. The packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are different types of packages, based on the number of courses and the mode of instruction (individual or group, coaching or teaching). The package rates are available on the school’s website or upon request.
The rates are set for a one-year period, from August 1st to July 31st. During this period, you can benefit from a discount when purchasing a second, third, or fourth package. The goal is to encourage regular participation, a key element for making progress. On August 1st, the counters reset, and you start again with package 1.
Students must book their classes at least 24 hours in advance, by phone, email, through the school’s website, or by using the dedicated application. Cancellations must also be made at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise the course credit is forfeited. In cases of force majeure, the school reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class, informing the student as soon as possible. The school also reserves the right to modify the class schedule or the assigned trainer, if necessary.
Students must settle their invoices within the deadlines indicated on the invoice, via bank transfer, Twint, cash, or credit card. In case of late payment, the school reserves the right to apply legal late payment interest rates, as well as administrative fees. The school also reserves the right to suspend or cancel classes in case of non-payment.
les mots complies with Swiss legislation regarding personal data protection and the right to image. Students authorize the school to use their data for administrative and educational purposes, as well as to publish photos or videos taken during activities organized by the school, unless otherwise stated in writing. Students can exercise their right to access, rectify, or delete their data by contacting the school.
By enrolling in les mots courses, students accept these general terms and conditions and commit to respecting them. The general terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law, and any dispute regarding their interpretation or execution will be submitted to the competent courts of the canton of Vaud.
